Testimonials :

«I had the pleasure of meeting Andy while volunteering at the Laos Conservation Trust for Wildlife, and I can confidently say that his passion for wildlife rehabilitation and post-release monitoring is truly exceptional.
What immediately stood out to me was Andy's dedication to both animal welfare and education. His enthusiasm for wildlife conservation is evident not only in the quality of his work but also in the way he teaches and mentors others. Andy approaches every aspect of his work with kindness, patience, and professionalism, creating an environment where students feel supported, encouraged, and inspired to learn.
One of Andy's greatest strengths as an educator is his ability to communicate concepts in a clear, practical, and engaging way. He presents information in a manner that is easy to understand and, most importantly, easy to apply in real-world situations. Whether discussing rehabilitation techniques, animal behavior, release protocols, or post-release monitoring methods, Andy ensures that his students gain both knowledge and confidence.
In addition to his teaching abilities, Andy is an exceptionally skilled animal handler. His calm, knowledgeable approach prioritizes the safety and well-being of both wildlife and people, demonstrating the highest standards of ethical wildlife care and management.
For anyone interested in developing their skills in wildlife rehabilitation, conservation, and post-release monitoring, I highly recommend Andy's Restore program. Students will not only benefit from his extensive experience and expertise but also from his genuine commitment to helping others succeed in this important field. Sincerely, »

« My internship at LCTW under Andy’s supervision was an incredibly formative experience. I gained in-depth knowledge in husbandry, learning best practices for animal care, welfare, and daily management. This internship strengthened both my technical expertise and my passion for animal conservation. Highly recommended for anyone eager to learn in a dynamic and practical environment! »

Rehabilitation intern
I had the opportunity to work with Andy during my internship at the Lao Conservation Trust for Wildlife, where he mentored me throughout several conservation projects, including the development of a pre-release protocol for Siamese crocodiles. From the beginning, Andy was much more than just a supervisor. He created an environment where I felt comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and learning through experience. His support and guidance played a huge role in both the success of my projects and my personal development during my time in Laos. Andy has an incredible amount of knowledge and experience, but what makes him stand out is how he applies it. He is creative in his approach to problem-solving, highly professional in everything he does, and always willing to help. No matter the question or challenge, I knew I could always go to him for advice, feedback, or support. On top of that, he brings a positive energy that makes working with him genuinely enjoyable—it's never a bad day if you're working with Andy. His combination of expertise, professionalism, and approachability made him an exceptional mentor. Beyond the professional side, Andy is genuinely one of the most inspiring people I have met. His passion for wildlife conservation, dedication to making a difference, and the way he has built his life around those values left a lasting impression on me. By the end of my internship, I felt more like I was learning from a friend than from a supervisor. I am extremely grateful for everything I learned from Andy and would highly recommend him as a mentor to anyone looking to develop their skills, knowledge, and understanding of conservation.
